We believe spending time outdoors makes everything better. Because we’re big fans of the
earth and all that it has to share with us, being eco-friendly is at the top of our priorities. Below is some info on the materials we use for various products:

Packaging

We use a certified home compostable alternative to a traditional poly bag. These come from a company called Better Packaging. Our mailers are made from 100% recycled content, 50% post-consumer content and come from a company called EcoEnclose.

Hangtags

We work with a company to print our materials with safe, eco-friendly dyes, and always use recycled paper.

Materials

Ripstop

Our ripstop is made of 86% recycled polyester (RPET) and 14% spandex.

Jersey/Compression

Our jersey is made of 87% recycled polyester (RPET) and 13% spandex.

Spandex

We’re looking into using recycled spandex in the near future as well. Our materials are Bluesign certified, which you can read more about here.

Though we design our products in Los Angeles, we manufacture in Seoul and China. We have a close relationship with all of our production partners to ensure they maintain safe working environments and provide livable wages.

We searched high and low to find an amazing manufacturer in the U.S., but quickly learned that although the U.S. has strength in denim and cotton materials (especially in Los Angeles),  there’s a reason why Asia is used for athletic wear - the artisans are more skilled in the development of the type of product we’re after.

In order to be as sustainable and thoughtful with our production process, we wanted to begin with limited products and limited quantities. This way, we can have a better understanding of exactly what sells, in which size, and what we can make more of to serve customers better. Once we get into a rhythm of connecting with our community, we’ll be able to make smart, thoughtful choices about what to bring to market.

As a small company, we’re doing the best we can to serve a variety of individuals. We’re looking to extend our sizing in the next rounds of production. If there’s a size you’re looking for and unable to find, please let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate in the near future.

We recommend you machine wash color with similar fabrics and colors. Tumble dry low and remove promptly, or hang dry to keep your hiking gear in the best shape possible. Please don’t iron your clothes.

Most of our sizing is “true to size” but we recommend you grab a measuring tape if you’re not entirely sure about your size. Whenever an item is oversized, we mark it in the product description, so you’ll be able to find more information on product-specific pages.
